Orange Leads FAQ

Orange Leads Frequently Asked Questions MORE COMiNG SOON!

Q: How do I delete an ihid URL I no longer need?

A:
Currently there is no way to delete an ihid URL once you create it. You can, however, edit any existing ihid URL so that it points to a different web site, essentially deleting the original destination URL. If you have an ihid web address pointing to a web site you no longer use, simply edit the destination URL to a site that you do currently use.

This actually is very useful if you have posted the ihid URL in multiple locations, as you now only have to make one change by editing the original one you created, rather than change the web address in multiple locations where you have it posted.

Q: How do I contact people who visit my Orange Leads Home Page?

A:
When you receive an email that someone is looking at your Orange Leads home page, there is also a link to view that persons home page. You can visit their home page and look for any contact info they may provide there and contact them directly that way. If you are a premium member, you can also send them a direct private message within orange leads from their home page. You may also look for any posts by them in public chat and see if they have any links in their Shameless Promo like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Blog and website. Since most people here are online marketers, it would be likely that there will be some way to contact them, even if you have to fill out a form on their web site.

This is one reason it is important to provide a secure way for people to contact you on your own home page, without putting your email out there for spammers to get a hold of. I use a free Kontactr web form and a Google Voice phone number with call screening and/or call blocking to screen out all the spam auto dialers. I do not recommend posting your email address or home phone number.

Q: Where do Orange Leads come from?

A:
Ads are placed online in various ways looking for opportunity seekers who are searching for a home business. Below is a screen shot of a typical form used to source the business opportunity leads.

Q: What happened to my Orange Leads Blog?

A:
There was a server crash sometime in December of 2010 that caused the loss of some data. The Orange Leads hosted blogs have not been restored yet. Apparently they were causing a huge drag on the servers and will eventually be moved to a new server with greater capacity and more reliable backup procedures.
